ART ON THE ATLANTA BELTLINE NOVEMBER PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

More than a Dozen Performances on the East Side during Three Weekends in November,

Including The Lantern Parade in Historic Fourth Ward Park on November 12!

Atlanta –November, the final month of Art on the Atlanta BeltLine, will have sixteen performances and events to close out the exhibit. There will be performances of music, dance, theatre, and the return of the signature “Lantern Parade” by Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, one of the stand-out events of the 2010 program. A map of the visual installations is available online at HERE.

The performance schedule for the month of November is as follows:

 

Friday, November 4

Location: Reynoldstown Stage

  • 5-7 p.m. – Atlanta Public Schools Performance Night

Saturday, November 5

Location: Reynoldstown Stage

  • 3 p.m. – Gateway Performance Producations, Water is Life: Hidden Springs, Atlanta

Location: Lewis Gulch

  • 6:45 p.m. – Klimchak and Stuart Gerber, Trio for Two Percussionists and Urban Woods

Location: Kirkwood Ave.

  • 6 p.m. – Dance Truck presents Crossover Movement Arts, “Pressure” and “Iron and Steel”

Sunday, November 6

Location: Lewis Gulch

  • 4 p.m. – Dashboard Co-Op, Picnic: A Communal Food/Dance Art Piece
  • 5:30 p.m. – Twinhead Theater, Murder on the BeltLine

Saturday, November 12

Location: Historic Fourth Ward Park

  • 5 a.m.-7 p.m. – Priscilla Smith, The View From Here
  • 5 p.m. – Ile’ Tambor
  • 6 p.m. – Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, BeltLine Lantern Parade 2011
  • 7 p.m. – Imperial Opa!

Sunday, November 13

  • 4:30 p.m. – Zentropy and Crossover Movement Arts, Freestyle Polers Take The 4th Ward

Saturday, November 19

Location: Lewis Gulch

  • 3-8 p.m. – Closing Concert
  • 4:30 p.m. – GloATL, Milk Float

Sunday, November 20

Location: Lewis Gulch

More than 145 proposals were submitted for inclusion in this year’s exhibit, with 66 visual and performance pieces selected to become part of the exhibit, a 30 percent increase over last year. The exhibit began on September 9 and runs through November 20.
