Since the Holiday season has begun, I would like everybody to remember that the Westview Community Celebration will be Dec. 15, 2012. If you would like to make a dish fowhr the event let me know. I would also like to get a count on who will come so we can get tables and chairs.

Westview Centennial Celebration
Our neighborhood is 100 years old! Come celebrate the centennial with a day full of fun activities for the whole family!
BELTLINE 5K RUN/WALK –
A free 5K around Westview and West End sponsored by the Atlanta BeltLine. Complete your free registration online by visiting www.active.com (search for “BeltLine” to find the race) and selecting the “No T-Shirt” option. Those who wish to make the optional $20 donation as part of their registration will receive an event t-shirt on race day!
MUSIC –
DJs Ramon Rawsoul (House in the Park – www.ramonrawsoul.com), Ryze (Imported Underground), and Drew (Drew’s House) will be playing the best in deep house and soul! Come boogie down on the lawn.
ART –
If you are interested in participating in our artist market please email us at info@westviewatlanta.com. This is our first year hosting the market so the application fee is only $10! We’ll supply you with a 10×10 space. You bring the tent, table, and other displays. Space is limited, so don’t wait!
FOOD –
Attendees – bring $5 to sample and vote for your favorite food! Participants – are you the master of the grill? Come out and prove it in the Westview Grill-Off! Entries in the Grill-Off are free! Individuals, organizations, restaurants are all allowed to participate. Please contact us at info@westviewatlanta.com for more info and to register.
FUN –
There will be fun games (with prizes) for the kids!

9:30 – 11:00: BeltLine 5K
11:00 – 11:30: Ceremonies
11:30 – 4:00: Cook-off/BBQ/music/artist market
THINGS TO BRING –
Picnic blankets, camping chairs, an appetite, $5 for the grill-off, sunscreen, smiles.
