Got Art?
If you were looking for something to do on this beautiful September day, you should have dropped by Piedmont Park to enjoy the annual Arts Festival! Not only were there plenty of pieces of amazing artwork, but originally designed apparel, jewelry, and accessories were stationed, too.
From the Cellar Art booth, the most gorgeous glass treasures laid. Nancy Cann has been creating these reversible pieces of jewelry for several years, and her skills are proven through her work. To view more of her collection, CLICK HERE. (Sorry, she refused to let me take pictures!)
In another corner, Daniel Schemel had us frozen in time, as we gazed in awe at his wonderful clockwork. Wooden watches with leather bands, isn’t that unique? To see more of his work visit Mistura Timepieces.
If you enjoy watercolor paintings, you should check out Helen Beacham’s Fine Art. The most esquisite works of art could be found in this booth. Her specialties are still life and landscape. From the looks of things, she never disappoints!
My personal favorite display was Vicki Love’s. She designs and creates products from deerskin. At this particular booth, she displayed bags and a vest. The detailed craftsmanship of each item exhibits her dedication to her work. For a closer look, check her out HERE.
There were so many gorgeous works on display during this even. If you missed out this year, now you know what to expect. Don’t miss out, this festival is one worth attending!
