Public Relations Officer- NPU-T

Hello everyone!

I have recently accepted a role as the Public Relations Officer within the Neighborhood Planning Unit -T. I will need all your help to be successful and make this role effective.
You’ll hear more about this in the near future, but in the mean time I wanted to inform you of some of my duties. I welcome all and any ideas and suggestions.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Charged with re-introducing NPU-T to the neighborhoods and promoting the theme of “Building on our strengths in clean, safe, neighborhoods”. Along with the NPU-T Chair, the PRO will help recruit committee members for the committee chairs and advertise their respective projects and activities. In addition to the Community Ambassador and Vice Chair, the PRO is authorized to represent NPU-T in an official manner when necessary.

  • Acts as liaison with neighborhood associations, in partnership with Morehouse RTF
  • Oversees and manages official NPU-T communication channels (i.e. email distribution group, blog, website, etc)
  • Generally promotes NPU-T and its agenda

I’m very excited about this role and the opportunity to create a synergy between our community associations.

We have a lot going for us, within this zone- let’s grab hold and insure we ALL prosper and take part in the many new initiatives being developed and implemented.  No community left behind, no community unrepresented.
